Wafer Box in Memory of George Ambler

Silver gilt wafer box, given to York Minster in 1927 in memory of Lieut. George Ambler who died of wounds aged 23, in 1917. The box given to the Minster by George's sister Mabel is now used during Holy Communion as a wafer box
