Convalescing Indian Soldier Writing a Letter Home
An injured Indian soldier taking help from a scribe to write a letter back home. Letters during the war were censored before they were sent to the family. Most of the letters written by Indian soldiers reflected on the harshness of the weather and the war. It also spoke about how the west looked, since this was the first time the men were stepping out of their country.
