Persil Washes Whiter Packet 1951

This image of a packet of Persil from 1951 shows the change to larger packets of powder. This product no longer needed to be mixed into a paste before use, therefore more product was needed for each wash cycle. The ‘washes whiter’ slogan was used for many years.
