Victorian Printing Block

This printing block was created by Procter Bros Ltd, in Garforth, Leeds. The company started in 1740 and is still going strong today. This block would perhaps have been used to print adverts or packaging for Ronuk Cream. Note how the design has to be created in reverse, so that when it is printed, it appears the correct way round.
