In 1985 Nadine went on to establish the Northern School of Contemporary Dance (NSCD) in Chapeltown, Leeds where many of her former students and young dancers from every part of the country and from abroad went and continue to go to train for the dance profession.
NSCD has a world-wide reputation – a huge step from its humble beginnings in an area of economic deprivation in Leeds.
It has now grown into one of the UK’s leading dance training institutions.
NSCD has trained many successful dance artists including Akram Khan, Tom Roden, Robert Hylton, Benji Reid and Fleur Darkin. You can find out more about some of them via links in the 'Resources' section.
