In March 2013, M&S returned to the birthplace of the Company - Leeds Kirkgate Market. On a spot very close to the site of Michael Marks' original Penny Bazaar, stands the M&S Heritage Stall.
M&S Stall in Leeds Kirkgate Market
The stall is all about promoting the history and heritage of the Company, as well as selling archive-inspired merchandise and classic M&S favourites. It's also the starting point for the M&S in Leeds Heritage Trail. The trail leads visitors on a walk through the city centre to the M&S Company Archive, taking in sites significant to M&S history on the way.
