Persil has created advertising and packaging that promotes the benefit of getting active and allowing children the freedom to get dirty.
There have been regular advertising links with major sports events and using well known sports stars to help promote the products.
Key advertising campaigns have included:
- Clean sports kit, especially football, shown on packets and in adverts.
- ‘Go Ride’ programme encouraging young people to take up cycling
- ‘Dirt is Good’ campaign, based on the research that children needed to be more active.
- ‘Every child has the right to be a child’, raising awareness of the importance of free play.
